Large, three bedroomed seafront chalet bungalow maintained and equipped to a high standard with views over the bay and a sunny, private patio.

Golden Bay Holiday Village has its own private ramp to the promenade and beach. It is 200 yards along the seafront to Westward Ho! village, with bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs which often offer entertainment and in which children are welcome. There are large grassed areas between the chalets beautifully planted with plants and shrubs.

The spacious, heated accommodation has three bedrooms to sleep six - a double with sea views, a twin and a third bedroom with bunk beds. There is a lounge/diner also with sea views and with comfortable seating and dining table to seat six. The lounge also has all the comforts of home, with flat screen TVs in the lounge and bedroom and wifi. There is a useful separate WC with sink and shaver point, in addition to a fully tiled shower room with vanity unit.

The kitchen is recently refitted with oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge freezer and anything else you may require for self catering.

The beach at Westward Ho! stretches into the distance and is never crowded. There is plenty of room on this Blue Flag beach for sand castles, beach cricket, rounders, or a more gentle game of boules. It's one of the best areas for surfing and was the venue for the Atlantic Watersports Games 2011.

Golden Bay Holiday Village is ideally positioned for exploring the beautiful unspoilt countryside, beaches and coves of North Devon and Cornwall. Westward Ho! facilities include golf, walking, surfing, go-karting, mini golf, sand yachting, horse riding, fishing and canoeing. There is a swimming pool built into the rocks adjacent to the chalet site. Exploring the rock pools is a popular pastime, as is crab fishing off the quay at nearby Appledore.

The park is peaceful and relaxing but within a few minutes' walk of all amenities. There is a handy laundry on site.
